Europe inflation protests are ongoing protests across Europe against the growing cost of living and inflation.[1][2] The rise of prices has been attributed to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.[1] The protests have been reported in France, Germany, Romania, and Czech Republic.[3][2][4]

Energy prices have pushed eurozone inflation to a record 9.9%, making it more difficult for individuals to buy their needs.[2] According to risk consultancy company Verisk Maplecroft, the war in Ukraine has "sharply raised the risk of civil unrest in Europe."[2]
