Capital punishment in Florida

Capital punishment is a legal penalty in the U.S. state of Florida.

Since 1976, the state has executed 105 convicted murderers, all at Florida State Prison.^[1] As of February 17, 2024, 283 offenders are awaiting execution.^[2]
