The 'Ajam of Kuwait (Arabic: عيم الكويت),[5][6] also known as Kuwaiti Persians, are Kuwaiti citizens of Iranian descent.[7][8][9][10] The majority of Shia Kuwaiti citizens are of Iranian descent,[11][12][13][14][15][16][17][1][18] although there are Ajam Kuwaitis who are Sunni.[10][2]
