The 2022 Wyoming Senate election took place on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, with the primary election held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.[4][5] Wyoming voters selected state senators in the 16 odd-numbered districts of the Senate to serve four-year terms.[6]

The election coincided with United States national elections and Wyoming state elections, including U.S. House, Governor, and Wyoming House.[7][8]

Following the previous election in 2020, Republicans held a 28-to-2-seat supermajority over Democrats.[9][10] These were the first elections in the odd-numbered Wyoming Senate districts following the 2020 United States redistricting cycle, which resulted in redrawn legislative district boundaries and the creation of a new 31st district.[1][2][3] Republicans expanded their supermajority to 29-to-2 over Democrats by gaining a seat in the new 31st district in 2022.[11]
