Abdul Baset al-Sarout (Arabic: عبد الباسط الساروت; 1 January 1992 – 8 June 2019) was a Syrian association football goalkeeper. He represented his country at both the U17 and U20 levels.[3] He was also a prominent rebel figure in the Syrian civil war.
