Abingdon School is an independent day and boarding school[a] in Abingdon-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England. It is the twentieth oldest independent British school.[citation needed] In May 2024, Abingdon announced it would be moving to co-education, with girls to be admitted to the First Year (Year 7) and Lower Sixth (Year 12) from September 2026.[1]
