Ahmad Muhammad Salih (Arabic: أحمد محمد صالح // ; 1898–1973, Omdurman) was one of the pioneers of patriotic poetry in Sudan, and he is also a politician who was chosen as a member of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, upon Sudan’s independence in 1956. He is the author of the Sudanese national anthem.
