Aleksandr "Alik" Sakharov (Russian: Александр "Алик" Сахаров; born May 17, 1959) is an American film and television director and cinematographer, born in Uzbekistan of Russian descent. He is known for his work on television dramas, including The Sopranos, Game of Thrones, The Witcher, and House of Cards. He won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for his work on the Netflix series Rome, A former director of photography, he is an active member of the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC).
