Andrew Harold Giuliani (born January 30, 1986)[1] is a public figure in the US, notable as an occasional political commentator, long-shot political candidate, and low-level golfer, but primarily for just being the son of former mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani and who has made a career predominantly as simply a "right-wing figure"[2]; i.e. he does not have an apparent employer, affiliated organization, or declared cause or objective.

Andrew was a "special assistant to the President", and associate director of the Office of Public Liaison, during the Trump administration.[3] He has been a contributor for the conservative media channel Newsmax TV.[citation needed]

In May 2021, Giuliani announced that he would be running for governor of New York in 2022. He did not field a candidate for lieutenant governor. He went on to lose the 2022 Republican gubernatorial primary to Lee Zeldin by a significant margin.[4] Most recently, Andy made several high-profile publicity-seeking appearances ("a regular strutting presence"),[5][6] during the trial of former U.S. President Donald Trump.
