Andrii Borysovych Pilshchykov (Ukrainian: Андрій Борисович Пільщиков; 3 February 1993[3][4] – 25 August 2023) was a Ukrainian fighter pilot with the call sign "Juice" (Джус) and a captain[5] in the 40th Tactical Aviation Brigade[6] of the Ukrainian Air Force.[7][1][2] He was qualified as a 2nd Class pilot[8] and flew Mikoyan MiG-29s during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.[9][10] Pilshchykov was awarded the Order for Courage, 3rd class, in May 2022, and posthumously promoted to the rank of major.[4] In 2024, he was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.[11]

The 3rd class military pilot – is a pilot that performs all types of combat missions (for the main purpose of the aviation kind) during the day, in simple meteorological conditions. The 2nd class pilot was prepared for fighting in the afternoon in difficult meteorological conditions and at night – in simple ones. The 1st class pilot is ready for fighting and day and night, under all conditions.
