Andrea Marie Valencia (born January 16, 1985) is an American politician who serves as the City Clerk of Chicago. She was appointed to the position vacated by Susana Mendoza, and took office in 2017.[1] She was elected to a full term as City Clerk in 2019 and re-elected in 2023.[2] She ran in the Democratic primary for Illinois Secretary of State in 2022, but placed second with 35% of the vote.
