Anthony Crowell (born August 25, 1970) is the current Dean and President of New York Law School.[1] He started in May 2012 after serving for more than 10 years as Counselor to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. He has taught courses in state and local government law at New York Law School and Brooklyn Law School.[1][2] He is a former board member of the New York City Economic Development Corporation and was the mayoral appointee to the New York City Conflicts of Interest Board between 2013-2021. He serves on the New York City Planning Commission, the Executive Committee of the Association of American Law Schools, the board of the Brooklyn Public Library,[1][2] the board of Citizens Union Foundation, the board of the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities in New York, is a member of,[3] and is the Chair of the Independent Review Committee that reviews appointments to New York's Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government.[4]
