In Greek mythology, Astraeus (/əˈstriːəs/) or Astraios (Ancient Greek: Ἀστραῖος, romanized: Astraîos, lit. 'starry'[1]) is the son of Crius and Eurybia, and the consort of Eos. He is said to be the father of the three winds: Boreas, Zephyrus, and Notus.
