Baseball cheering culture in South Korea

Baseball cheering taking place at Suwon KT wiz ballpark

The baseball cheering culture in South Korea started in the 1990s and continues to the present.[citation needed] There are 10 professional clubs and each club has its own way of cheering.[1] The Korean cheering culture generally shares similar characteristics: collective, enthusiastic and empathetic. Baseball cheering is popular because of easy-to-learn fight songs, break-time events and a variety of foods. Baseball cheering is performed in most parts of a ballpark.[2][3]
