The Battle of Blanc-Nez and Gris-Nez (18 July 1805) was a naval engagement between a combined flotilla of the Batavian Navy and French Imperial Navy led by Carel Hendrik Ver Huell and a larger British Royal Navy squadron under the command of Lord Keith during the War of the Third Coalition. Ver Huell's flotilla was able to resist several attacks from Lord Keith's squadron and successfully reached Boulogne-sur-Mer.
