The Battle of Carmen de Patagones was a confrontation that occurred on March 7, 1827 between militias of the United Provinces of the Río de la Plata and troops from the Imperial Brazilian Navy, during the course of the Cisplatine War. It took place around the town of Carmen de Patagones, in southern Buenos Aires Province, in today's Argentina.[1][2][3][4][5]
