The Battle of Kakkor (sometimes spelled Kakkod) was fought between the Maratha Confederacy, led by the veteran Gangadhar Tatya, who was sent into battle by Malhar Rao Holkar, and the Rajput Kingdom of Jaipur under Sawai Madho Singh in present-day Kakor, Uniara, Tonk district of Rajasthan.[1]
