The Battle of Mieniany (Polish: Walka pod Mienianami, Ukrainian: Бій під Мінянами; 15 August 1943) was fought between the Peasant Battalions and Home Army under the command of Stanisław Basaj against the Ukrainian Auxiliary Police together with the 14th Grenadier Division of the Waffen–SS “Galicia”.^[1]
