Bergdorf Goodman Inc. is an American luxury department store based in New York City, founded in 1899 by Herman Bergdorf. As of 2024, it operates men’s and women’s stores across the street from each other on Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. It has been owned by the Neiman Marcus Group since 1987, and is a sister brand to the Dallas-based Neiman Marcus department store chain through this ownership.[2]
