The COVID-19 pandemic was confirmed to have reached the U.S. state of Pennsylvania in March 2020. As of October 7, 2021[update], the Pennsylvania Department of Health has confirmed 1,464,264 cumulative cases and 29,814 deaths in the state.[1] As of September 1, 2021[update], Pennsylvania has administered 6,238,812 partial vaccinations, and 5,983,128 full vaccinations.[2]
