Chronic candidiasis or Candida hypersensitivity is a hypothetic syndrome proposed by Dr. C. Orian Truss [1] and Dr. William G. Crook [2]. They made the hypothesis that chronic yeast infections could be responsible for many common disorders and non-specific symptoms including fatigue, weight gain, constipation, dizziness, muscle and joint pain, asthma, and others.[3]
