Carole M. Cusack is an Australian historian of religion, specialising in Early Medieval Northwestern Europe, western esotericism, and trends in contemporary religion. Employed at the University of Sydney since 1989, she has published a number of books during her career. She received her bachelor's degree in religious studies from the same university in 1986, receiving her PhD from the same university in 1986. She received a Master of Education in Educational Psychology in 2001.^[1]
