Charles Matthew Hunnam (/ˈhʌnəm/; born 10 April 1980) is an English actor and screenwriter. He is best known for his role as Jax Teller in the FX series Sons of Anarchy (2008–2014). His portrayal was nominated twice for the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Actor.

Hunnam has been featured as the lead in numerous films, including Green Street, as Pete Dunham, Nicholas Nickleby as Nicholas Nickleby (2002), Pacific Rim as Raleigh Beckett (2013), Crimson Peak as Alan McMichael (2015), The Lost City of Z as Percy Fawcett (2016). He led Guy Ritchie's King Arthur: Legend of the Sword as Arthur Pendragon, in Triple Frontier as William "Ironhead" Miller (2019), The Gentlemen as Raymond Smith (2019), Last Looks Detective Charlie Waldo (2022) and in the Rebel Moon franchise as Kia (2023-2024).

His notable television roles include Nathan Maloney in the Channel 4 drama Queer as Folk (1999–2000), Lloyd Haythe on the Fox series Undeclared (2001–2002) and Dale Conti/Lindsay "Linbaba" Ford in the Apple TV+ series Shantaram (2022).
