Charlotte Jean Pritt (born January 2, 1949)[5] is an American educator, businesswoman, and politician in the U.S. state of West Virginia.[6][7][8] From 1984 to 1988, she served in the West Virginia House of Delegates, representing Kanawha County.[9][10] From 1988 to 1992, she served in the West Virginia State Senate.[10] She ran unsuccessfully for West Virginia governor in 1992, 1996 and 2016 and for West Virginia Secretary of State in 2000.[2]
