Claude Ruey (born 29 November 1949) is a Swiss politician. He was a member of the National Council from 1999 to 2011. From 2002 to 2008, he was the president of the Liberal Party of Switzerland.[1] During his presidency, the Liberal Party moved towards its merger with the Free Democratic Party to form FDP.The Liberals.
