Conversion to Islam is accepting Islam as a religion or faith and rejecting any other religion or irreligion.^[1]

The person who converts to Islam is often referred to as a Revert (instead of Convert), because Muslims believe that all children are born as Muslims (meaning: 'submitters [to God]').
