Amit Kumar Das is an Australian non-resident Indian educational philanthropist and businessman originally from Mirdaul, Araria District, Bihar, who founded and is the current chairman of multinational software company iSOFT Software(not to be confused with ISOFT), and has founded the Moti Babu Institute of Technology (MBIT), an engineering college in Bihar dedicated in honour of his late father, Moti Lal Das.[1][2][3][4]
Das has also received awards such as the Bihar Asmita Samman in 2010, for his contributions to the state of Bihar in the field of education and philanthropy, and a Microsoft Certificate of Achievement for his business solutions.[2][5][6]
