Chaithanya Unni is a dermatologist and medical entrepreneur based in Australia. A doctor by profession, practising family medicine and dermatology in Australia, Chaithanya, along with her husband, runs 'Amtan', a chain of eight medical centres in that country. [1][2]
Chaithanya Unni, the winner of 1988 Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist for the film Ormmayilennum,[3] is the great, great granddaughter of O Chandu Menon, the author of Indulekha.[4][5]
A classical dancer, Unni played Indulekha in its musical adaptation, directed by Soorya Krishnamoorthy,[6][7] and she is the project head of O Chandu Menon foundation, that launched Empowering woman entrepreneurs (EWE), helping woman to achieve their dreams through education.[8]
