Draft:Gladiators (2024 British TV series) series 1

  • Comment: Not enough content to justify having a separate article. Tutwakhamoe (talk) 01:11, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
  • Comment: Separate articles for each season will be useful when multiple seasons have aired such that the content grows too large for the main Gladiators (2023 British TV series) to handle. But it's way WP:TOOSOON for that. Even when the first season starts airing, it won't need a separate article immediately. After all, what else will the main article have to cover other than the one and only season? We don't need two separate articles that both cover the same one and only season. • Comment: Now, as the first series of the show has been completed, and the second series is confired (there's a draft article for that as well), I personally don't see any problem with publishing this article now!2001:999:701:134F:39B0:D9BC:A0BD:CBC (talk) 14:43, 1 April 2024 (UTC)

The first series of Gladiators aired in the UK in Spring 2024 on BBC One,[1][2] and is also available on video on demand platform BBC iPlayer[3]. The series was filmed in June 2023 on Sheffield Arena venue.[4]

The show is being presented by Bradley Walsh and his son Barney Walsh, with Mark Clattenburg, Sonia Mkoloma and Lee Phillips acting as the referees.[5][6] The voiceover commentary is provided by Guy Mowbray.[7]

The premiere episode of the rebooted Gladiators attracted an audiance of 6 million viewers, and became the biggest entertainment launch of the network in seven years.[8]
