Iettunup is an extinct shield volcano located in the northern part of the Sredinny Range in Kamchatka[1]. It is located on the eastern slope of the range, between the upper reaches of the Levaya Khaylulya and Ietvayam rivers . The absolute height is 1340 m, the relative height is about 400 m. The age of the volcano is ancient ( Pleistocene ). The diameter of the outer crater is 0.8 km, the inner one is 0.3 km.

The area is about 35 km², the volume of erupted material is 5 km³. The shape of the volcanic structure is an irregular gently sloping shield. The top of the volcano ends in a gentle cone and is strongly shifted to the west.
