Dr. Priyanka Singh (born August 1, 1988, in Jamnagar, India) is a Senior Researcher at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability, part of the Technical University of Denmark. With more than nine years of research experience in bionanotechnolgy, cell biology, and medical biology, she is a leading expert in the development and application of innovative nanomaterials for cell therapy. Her research focuses on advancing treatments for cancer and infection through the use of 2D and 3D cell models.

She earned her Ph.D. in Bio-nanoscience from Kyung Hee University, Global Campus in South Korea, where she designed nanoparticles and drug conjugates to improve the pharmacokinetics of poorly water-soluble drugs, targeting cancer and infectious cells. She also holds a Master’s degree in Microbiology from CSJMU in India and a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Kachchh University in India.

Dr. Singh has contributed significantly to multidisciplinary research projects under the NordForsk and EU Marie-Curie ITN programs, collaborating with prestigious institutions worldwide, including UCR (California, USA), Oxford University (UK), and Sejong University (South Korea). She has led studies on green nanomaterials with anticancer and antimicrobial properties, resulting in high-impact publications.

As a mentor, Dr. Singh has co-supervised junior postdocs, Ph.D. candidates, and research interns, promoting their growth in research methodologies and scientific communication. She has been instrumental in numerous collaborative research initiatives.

Dr. Singh has published 76 international peer-reviewed journal articles, with a significant number as a corresponding and first author. Her work has been cited 7865 times, achieving an H-index of 41 and an i10 index of 62^[1]. She is recognized as an influential figure in her field.
