Draft:Seti I's Syrian Campaign

Seti I led a military campaign in Syria and the Land of Canaan to re-impose Egyptian control abroad. Seti I was the first Egyptian king to engage in battle against the Hittite Empire, who were a new great power in the East. These military activities and victories were recorded very brilliantly in the Temple of Amun in Karnak.
