Dungarvan Town Council, previously known as Dungarvan Urban District Council, was responsible for administration and some public services in Dungarvan, County Waterford. Records date the establishment of town commissioners in Dungarvan to 1855,[3] being replaced by an urban district council in 1899.[4] Later becoming a town council, the local administrative body was abolished in 2014 as part of reforms under the Local Government Reform Act 2014.[5]
