Edmund Francis Hughes^[1] (born 3 October 1968) is a British Conservative Party politician who served in the Second Johnson ministry as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Housing and Rough Sleeping from 2021 to 2022. He was Member of Parliament (MP) for Walsall North from 2017 to 2024.^[2]

He was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Housing and Rough Sleeping by Boris Johnson in January 2021, due to the resignation of Kelly Tolhurst. He returned to the backbenches following the formation of the Truss ministry in September 2022.
