The Erasmus+ Programme is the programme combining all the EU's current schemes for education, training, youth and sport, the most recent programme covering the years from 2021 to 2027. Erasmus was created as the "EuRopean Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students",[1] a European Union (EU) student exchange programme established in 1987.[2][3] Since then, a range of actions in areas relating to education, training, youth and sports have been progressively integrated in the programme.
