Ersin Tatar (born 7 September 1960) is a Turkish Cypriot politician and the president De-facto state of Northern Cyprus. He became the prime minister of De-facto state of Northern Cyprus following the collapse of the coalition government of Tufan Erhürman in May 2019 and served until his own election as president.[1] He was also the leader of the National Unity Party (UBP) and served as leader of the opposition.[2]
