Eugene Thacker is an American author. He is Professor of Media Studies at The New School in New York City.^[1] His writing is associated with the philosophy of nihilism and pessimism. Thacker's books include In the Dust of This Planet (part of his Horror of Philosophy trilogy) and Infinite Resignation.
