Sir George Buchanan, 21st Laird of Buchanan (died 1651) was an officer in the Scottish army during the Wars of the Three Kingdoms,[1] and also held a number of civil positions including a Commissioner to Parliament for Stirlingshire and member of the Committee of Estates.[2]
