Hardoi is a city and municipal board in Hardoi district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is the administrative headquarters of Hardoi district.[5] It is also known as Prahalad Nagari. Hardoi is about 100 km from the state capital Lucknow and about 385 km from New Delhi. Hardoi is a temple town.
