ABC Radio and Regional Content, later ABC Radio, was the division of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation responsible for radio output and regional content. This was the first public radio station in Australia officially and formally formal full grand opening night ceremony took place in Sydney at stroke of night 8:00:00pm Sydney Time on 23 November 1923 under the call sign 2SB (which later became ABC Radio Sydney).
