Ibn Arslan al-Ramli or ibn Ruslan (773 or 775 AH (1371 CE) – 844 AH (1440 CE)), whose full name was Shihab al-Din Abu al-Abbas Ahmad ibn Hussein ibn Ali ibn Arslan al-Maqdisi al-Ramli al-Shafi'i al-Sufi, was a Sunni scholar and an expert in Shafi'i jurisprudence. It appears he followed the Ash'ari theological school, and was a Sufi in his practice and behavior.[1]
