Joshua Moufawad-Paul is a Marxist academic and writer from Toronto, Canada. He is a professor of philosophy at York University. Moufawad-Paul espouses Marxism-Leninism-Maoism,[1][2] seeing Shining Path's 1980s-1990s "People's War" against the Peruvian state as "heroic."[3]
