Jamal James Kent (May 2, 1979 – June 15, 2024) was an American chef.[1][4][5] In 2010, he won the Bocuse d'Or USA.[6][7] Kent and his commis Tom Allan went on to represent the U.S. at the international finals of Bocuse d'Or the following year,[8][9][10][11][12] in Lyon, France, where they placed tenth.[13]
