The Koopssus (Indonesian: Komando Operasi Khusus, Special Operations Command), is a special forces unit of the Indonesian National Armed Forces with counter-terrorism duties.^[1] The unit operates and was formed similarly to the United States Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) to execute special operations missions worldwide.
