The Korea Railroad Corporation (Korean: 한국철도공사; Hanja: 韓國鐵道公社, branded as KORAIL (코레일, officially changed to 한국철도, 韓國鐵道 in November 2019[5]), is the national railway operator in South Korea. Currently, KORAIL is a public corporation, managed by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation.
KORAIL operates intercity/regional, commuter/metro and freight trains throughout South Korea, and has its headquarters in Daejeon.
