Kurka (Persian: كوركا)^[a] was a village in, and the former capital of, Kurka Rural District of the Central District of Astaneh-ye Ashrafiyeh County, Gilan province, Iran.^[4] The capital of the rural district has been transferred to the village of Kashal-e Azad Sara.^[5]
