Kyren James Wilson[3] (/ˈkrən/;[4] born 23 December 1991)[5] is an English professional snooker player from Kettering. He is a six-time ranking event winner and the current world champion, having won the 2024 World Snooker Championship. He has also been runner-up at two of the three Triple Crown events, reaching the final at the 2018 Masters and the 2020 World Snooker Championship. A prolific break-builder, Wilson has compiled more than 450 century breaks including five maximum breaks. He attained his highest world ranking of third in 2024.

Wilson turned professional in 2010 after finishing fifth in the 2009–10 International Open Series rankings. Failing to retain his spot on the World Snooker Tour in 2011, he regained his tour card in 2013 and has played professionally ever since. In September 2015, ranked 54th in the world, Wilson defeated Judd Trump 10‍–‍9 in the final of the Shanghai Masters to win his first ranking title. He also won the 2018 Paul Hunter Classic, defeating Peter Ebdon 4‍–‍2 in the final; the 2019 German Masters, beating David Gilbert 9‍–‍7; the 2020 Championship League, beating Judd Trump 3‍–‍1; and the 2022 European Masters, winning 9‍–‍3 against Barry Hawkins. He won his sixth ranking title in May 2024 when he defeated Jak Jones 18‍–‍14 in the final of the World Championship.
