Legislative violence

Taiwanese DPP deputy Wang Shu-hui chewing up a proposal to halt voting on direct transport links with the People's Republic of China.[1]

Legislative violence broadly refers to any violent clashes between members of a legislature, often physically, inside the legislature and triggered by divisive issues and tight votes. Such clashes have occurred in many countries, and notable incidents still happen.
