Third Watch is an American television drama series. First aired on NBC from 1999 to 2005. Third Watch followed the lives of an ensemble cast of characters portraying police officers of the New York City Police Department (NYPD); along with firefighters and paramedics of the New York City Fire Department (FDNY).
