Tulu General Entertainment Channels (GECs) refer to television and digital platforms broadcasting content in the Tulu language, a Dravidian language spoken predominantly in the Tulu Nadu region of coastal Karnataka and parts of northern Kerala in India.[1][2] Despite Tulu’s rich cultural heritage, its presence in mainstream media has been limited. However, recent years have seen growth in Tulu-language television and digital content.
